Description
Here is the new version (maybe the last) of luffing crane from ERECTOR. I used my new set to improve this model. More metal gears and more parts to make model stronger. Jib is longer and base is larger. All model is stable and balanced.
3 motors drive this model: luffing, winching and gyration. I found the right combination to drive plateform recolving: stepper motor with worm meshed with 57-teeth gear. This gear system drives 19-teeth pinion meshed with 133-teeth gear.
